How pricing works
No pricing roulette, no "starting at" tricks. Here's exactly how a PileIt quote comes together.
1. Volume is the base
Most of your price is how much truck space the pile fills — a quarter load, half load, or full load. A couch is a couch; we've seen enough photos to quote accurately.
2. Some items carry disposal fees
Mattresses, fridges, tires, and TVs cost us real money to recycle properly. Those fees are listed as their own line — you'll see exactly what they are before you approve.
3. Labour is included
Stairs, awkward corners, and heavy lifting are part of the job, not a surprise surcharge. If access is genuinely unusual, we'll say so in the quote — never after.
4. GST, and that's it
Your quote shows the subtotal, any fees or discounts, and 5% GST. The number you approve is the number on your invoice.
