PileIt Junk Removal ("we", "us") collects only the personal information we need to quote, schedule, perform, and bill junk removal work. We follow Canada's PIPEDA and British Columbia's PIPA.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, email, phone number, service address, a description of the items, any photos you upload, and your scheduling preferences. When we complete a job we also keep before/after photos, invoices, and payment records (never full card numbers — card payments are processed by our payment provider).
How we use it
To prepare your quote, schedule and perform the work, send you the transactional emails and messages that move your job along (confirmations, reminders, invoices, receipts), and keep the records the law requires. We do not send marketing messages, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who can see it
Our office staff, and the crew assigned to your job — who see only what they need to do the work. Trusted service providers (email delivery, payment processing) handle data on our behalf under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
Job and billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Quote requests that never become jobs are kept for one year, then deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we're not legally required to keep. Email info@pileit.ca and we'll act on it promptly.
